Thank you for visiting our new School website. Millisle Primary School is situated in the sea-side village of Millisle on the County Down coast of Northern Ireland.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our site and perhaps get a glimpse of what life is like inside our school. So please feel free to browse through the various pages on display.

The site will be updated at different times throughout the year, showing the various activities and events in which our school participates. So please check back on a regular basis and catch up on the news and notices on our school notice - board.

Our2004/5 P.5 class produced a DVD, telling the story of some of the Jewish children who were evacuated to a farm here in Millisle. This DVD is well worth viewing and can be purchased from the school reception priced £5. In December 2007 Millisle Primary School opened a Holocaust Memorial Garden in the grounds of the school.

During the 2006/7 school year Millisle Primary School produced a promotional DVD highlighting the excellent learning and teaching opportunities for the children from Nursery class right through to P7 class.  The DVD shows the wide range of extra curricular activities Millisle Primary School offers all its children and some of the activities Millisle Primary School hosts, as the only school in the area which is part of the Extended Schools project, to develop further links with the local community.  Further information about all these activities can be obtained by contacting the school.

Learning and teaching facilities continue to develop throughout the school with the increasing  use of technology through the purchase of three interactive whiteboards and a computer suite/library for the children.
