THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS

The Board of Governors consists of nine people who represent the following:
South Eastern Education and Library Board: 2 members – nominated by SEELB;
Transferors: 4 members – nominated by the late Mrs Pack - Beresford or her nominee;
Parents: 2 members – nominated by the parents, and
Teachers: 1 member – nominated by teaching staff.

The Principal is a full member of the board of Governors but is a non – voting member.

Rev. H. Boyd – Transferor – Minister of Millisle & Ballycopeland Presbyterian Church.

Rev. K. Graham – Transferor – Rector of Carrowdore & Millisle Parishes – Current Parent.

Mr. D. Anderson – SEELB – Civil Servant, Department of Health, Former Pupil, Current Parent.

Mr. S. Cassells – SEELB – Civil Servant – CCEA.

Mrs. G. McGimpsey – Parent Representative – Senior Clerk, Former Pupil, Current Parent.

Mrs  De-Sousa – Parent Representative  - Secretary, Former Pupil, Current Parent.

Mr. S. Irwin – Transferor – Retired Civil Servant, Former Parent, Parish Reader.

Mr. M. Macnaghten – Transferor – Retired Lecturer, Former Parent.

Mrs. A. Hutchinson – Teacher Representative - P6/7 Teacher, Former Parent, Former Pupil.

The period of office of the Board of Governors is 4 years; from September
2005- August 2009

All members (with the exception of the Principal) will complete their present  term of office in the Autumn Term 2009.
