The Nursery is a new purpose-built building situated in the grounds of the Primary School.  It has a bright recreation area, playroom with adjoining toilet facilities, a quiet room, kitchen, a staff/parent room, and a secure outdoor play area solely for the use of the Nursery.

Your child’s time at Nursery school plays an important part in his/her education.  We hope to extend your child’s development socially, emotionally, and intellectually through play.

While at Nursery your child will have access to free play.

• He/She may play inside with sand, water, blocks, dough, paints, constructional toys, games, art activities, small world toys etc.

• He/She may dress up and role play in a variety of situations e.g. shop, house, hospital, café, jungle, etc.

• He/She may play outside on a climbing frame, on ride on toys, with balls, in the sandpit and lots of other things.
  • In the Quiet room, he/she will hear many stories and learn new rhymes and have access to a wide range of books.
